Introducing: The Ann Hershfang Champions Circle

We’ll be recognizing Ann Hershfang, who is stepping off the board this spring after an incredible 36 years of leadership and a legacy that has shaped the walkability movement. The Ann Hershfang Champions Circle will make sure this vital work will continue for years to come. 

Robust support from individual donors will allow us to be there for all the work ahead. Donate at least $1000 over the course of this year to be a founding member. To discuss any sort of giving further, you can reach out to staff@walkmass.org or 617.367.9255.

Golden Shoe Awards

As part of our Annual Celebration, we give out Golden Shoes Awards that recognize individuals, agencies, municipalities and companies exemplifying the ideals of WalkMassachusetts’ mission. This year’s winners are the Tracy Zafian, the Shared Spaces Coalition, and the Somerville Mobility Division and the Pedestrian & Transit Advisory Committee (PTAC). Our keynote speaker is Reggie Ramos from T4MA!
