The Data is in: 2025 Fatal Pedestrian Crash Report

Our streets should be safe, but a new WalkMass report highlights severe traffic safety gaps across Massachusetts:

  • 62% of fatal crashes occurred in Environmental Justice areas.
  • 43% of those killed were older adults (65+).
  • 70% of these tragedies happened on local city or town streets.
